The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management will pay special attention to all requests of agricultural producers from Gusinje and Plav and try to implement them as much as possible, bearing in mind that agriculture is one of the main development branches of those municipalities.
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Vladimir Joković and the State Secretary Salih Gjonbalaj and their associates paid a working visit to the municipalities of Gusinje and Plav on Wednesday in order to learn about the challenges and problems with the municipal presidents Sanel Balić and Nihad Canović and local agricultural producers. which they encounter.
The main problems that were discussed were the poor road infrastructure in rural areas, the electrification of Katun, the necessity of building a water supply system, the procurement of machinery, the overflowing of rivers, problems with the purchase of milk and other agricultural products.
Joković familiarized himself with the problems and said that he would work to solve them with the active participation of local self-governments. He told the farmers that they can turn to the Ministry at any time, which, as before, will listen to their needs and meet them in every possible way.
The presidents of the municipalities were informed that the delivery of tractors - snowplows for the upcoming winter season will soon begin in order to enable farmers and other citizens to function smoothly.
As part of his working visit, Joković visited several exemplary agricultural producers from the municipalities of Gusinje and Plav. He encouraged them that in the coming period they will have the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and expressed the hope that they will increase the volume of production.
