The Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development has allocated 50 euros for the organization of "Lake Fest" in Nikšić and 90 euros for "Wild Beauty Art 2024", which will be held in Durmitor, in the municipality of Žabljak, the relevant minister announced. At today's session of the Government, on the proposal of that minister, the Information on the organization of the festival "Lake Fest 2024" was adopted. with the Contract Proposal and Information on the organization of the "Wild Beauty Art 2024 International Festival" with the Contract Proposal.
Martinović emphasized the significant impact of both festivals on Montenegro and the regions where they are held.
"Lake Fest is organized for the 13th year in a row in the municipality of Nikšić, which confirms its traditional character and acquired reputation. It is a recognizable musical event that gathers music lovers from the region and beyond, contributes to the promotion of Nikšić as a cultural and tourist destination, increases tourist traffic and strengthens the local economy," Martinovic said.
On the other hand, it is added, the "Wild Beauty Art" festival promotes art and culture in the pristine nature of Montenegro, contributing to environmental awareness and sustainable tourism.
"Holding this festival in mountainous and rural areas encourages the development of local communities and attracts visitors from all over the world, thus contributing to economic growth and the preservation of natural beauty," said Martinović.
He concluded that both festivals play a key role in the cultural and economic development of Montenegro, providing a platform for artists and attracting visitors, which contributes to better international recognition of the country.
