The former president of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM), Budimir Raičković, was re-elected to that position today.
Delegates from the most important companies from all over Montenegro decided at the AMM Election Assembly to entrust the four-year mandate of the president to Raičković.
The executive director of New Volvox, Slavoljub Popadić, was elected president of the Assembly, while the assistant director of Sava osiguranje, Zoran Savić, was elected deputy president.
The director of TV Vijesti and Daily Press, Marijana Kadić Bojanić, was elected vice president for leadership and business women, and the CEO of Aqua Mont, Vinko Nikić, was elected vice president for economy and finance.
For the areas of corporate management and strategic management, the executive director of One Crna Gora, Branko Mitrović, was elected vice president, while for the area of entrepreneurship, the founder of Family RIN DG, Radovan Radulović, was elected.
The AMM Presidency also included the president of the CEO Forum and executive director of Sava osiguranje, Nebojša Šćekić, executive director of AMM, Anđela Radosavović, general manager of Čikom, Vladan Tabaš, director of the strategy and risks sector at M:tel Dušan Radusinović and sales director at Win Credit, Arsenije Boljević.
In his address to the delegates on the occasion of the election for the president of the Association, Raičković pointed out that AMM, as an umbrella organization that gathers leaders and managers from all sectors of society, has a significant role in shaping the business environment and improving the quality of management in Montenegro.
"Our common goal is to continue building a strong and prosperous business and social organization, which will contribute to the economic development of Montenegro. AMM is more than just a business organization. We are partners in building a better future for all citizens of our country. Our members are leaders who, through their actions, contribute to the development of their companies, as well as the entire economy of Montenegro," said Raičković.
According to him, Montenegro faces many challenges on the way to true economic and social prosperity.
In addition to the constant improvement of the business environment, a simple and predictable legislative and tax framework for business and efficient state administration, the key measures to be undertaken include, among others, support for entrepreneurship, the development of the personnel base through the improvement of education, infrastructural development, digitization and technological development.
"One of the strategic goals of AMM is to support our country on the way to membership in the European Union (EU). Membership in the EU brings numerous benefits, including access to a larger market, structural funds for development, as well as the adoption of high business and management standards. AMM will, in accordance with its capabilities, actively participate and give its full contribution to the fastest possible integration of Montenegro into the European family. Our strength lies in unity and common commitment to goals that transcend individual interests," said Raičković.
Popadić pointed out that it is a great pleasure and honor for him to chair the Assembly of the Association for another term, which has grown into a recognizable and strong organization and has become a serious partner of the state and the economy.
AMM managed to preserve its integrity and spirit in a period of political and economic turbulence.
Popadić emphasized that the special quality of the Association's work is given by the fact that the members' activities are carried out on a volunteer basis, without personal interests, selflessly working for the good of Montenegro.
"The strength of AMM is in our gathering, our togetherness and our reliance on each other," said Popadić.
Šćekić announced that AMM has gathered people with competence, professionalism, knowledge and experience in its membership and leadership.
From a strategic point of view, he stated that he is very happy that a large number of young and promising managers have joined the Association, who, with their positioning in the management bodies, will be the support and perspective of the development of this institution, which is recognized both in the country and abroad.
Mitrović assessed that AMM represents the foundation of the business community in Montenegro, but that its true strength lies in togetherness and solidarity.
"Through the activities of AMM, we are not only partners looking for business potential for our companies, but through cooperation and a common vision we recognize opportunities for growth and development of the entire Montenegrin society. I am convinced that this is the way to achieve great results. In addition, it is our responsibility to devote attention within our companies to the development of a new generation of managers," Mitrović added.
Through investment in their professional growth and education, as he said, the foundations for sustainable and long-term progress of the Montenegrin economy are created.
"In this way, we will ensure that our business ecosystem remains dynamic, innovative and capable of responding to all the challenges of the future," said Mitrović.
Kadić Bojanić pointed out that after more than ten years of existence, AMM has shown that it is a self-sustaining organization, which has grown and developed, but also maintained its independence in relation to political and other interest circles, which is a great value and advantage of AMM.
"When it comes to business women, AMM will work even more actively on their empowerment in the future. Progress is visible, today there are more women in CEO positions than before, but the state and local governments still do not provide quality public services such as education, health, public transport, the regular functioning of which would greatly facilitate the quality distribution of private and business time". Kadic Bojanic said.
Savić, who is the deputy president, said that from this important position he will continue to work on improving professional standards and creating new opportunities for all its members, as well as creating an environment in which all members will have the opportunity for professional growth, education and networking. .
