The Board of Directors (BoD) of the Employment Institute of Montenegro (ZZCG) approved over 1,7 million euros for the employment and training of the unemployed, it was reported from the ZZCG.
The press release states that the Board of Directors of ZZZCG, at the session chaired by Aleksandar Šipčić, made decisions on financing the program for employment and training of the unemployed in 2024.
The ZZZCG said that over 1,7 million euros were approved for the two programs "Direct job opening - public work" and "Employer training", and that in this way 837 unemployed people from the ZZZCG records were employed.
"Through the first program, worth EUR 999.803,20, it will be possible to employ 523 people, half of whom will be engaged in programs of social content, and the other half in programs of humanitarian, educational, environmental and other content of public interest. Employment in temporary jobs from of public interest will enable these persons to acquire, maintain and improve their work skills, increase their employability in the open labor market and mitigate the risk of social exclusion. 713.495,92 unemployed persons. Through training and gaining practical experience, 314 of them are planned for the public sector, and 83 for the private sector," said ZZZCG.
From that institution, they stated that the expectation from both programs is that they will contribute to a better economic position of the unemployed from the records of the ZZZCG, through the acquisition of new practical knowledge and skills, as well as increasing their employability on the open labor market.
"Also, it will have a positive impact on overall employment and the improvement of the standard of living of the citizens of Montenegro," the announcement concludes.
