The Kotor - Lovćen cable car ride will be free during July for children from Montenegro and their peers from abroad under the age of 12.
The Municipality of Kotor announced that the initiative of its president, Vladimir Jokić, about free cable car rides for the children of Bokele municipalities, which was addressed to the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kotor - Lovćen Cable Car, Martin Leitner, received a positive epilogue.
In the conversation between Jokić and the management of Žičara, after the submitted initiative, it was agreed that the decision on free rides, in order to avoid territorial boundaries, applies to children from all over Montenegro, as well as their peers from abroad, from July 1 to 31 of this year .
The decision applies to children up to 12 years of age.
"Wanting to avoid a possible negative reaction from the public in terms of the interpretation that it is territorial or some other discrimination against passengers on the cable car, the decision made applies to children from all Montenegrin municipalities, as well as to children from abroad who will visit this beautiful country during that period , which made your initiative more important and will make even more of the youngest and our dearest passengers happy," Leitner's reply states.
He added that, with the new facilities at the Kuk exit station that they have prepared for them, it will be a unique experience.
"Thus, we once again show our social responsibility and willingness to actively participate in the development of tourism in Montenegro," said Leitner in his reply to Jokić.
