I have not yet received any information from the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade of Serbia, Tomislav Momirović, regarding the restriction of the export of sunflower oil to Montenegro, announced the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Nik Đeljošaj.
Momirović told the Serbian media today that he informed Đeljošaj that there are no problems with the export of oil to Montenegro.
However, the Vice President of the Montenegrin Government told "Vijesta" today that because of the information that appeared about the restriction of sunflower oil for Montenegro, he contacted his Serbian colleague from the Government of Serbia yesterday, who, as he points out, promised to give him feedback today.
"Respecting collegiality and our agreement that they will check and give me feedback on this issue today, I have not informed the local public about it until today. Nevertheless, the media published his statement and if they transmitted it correctly, I just want to say that I have not from the respected colleagues, no information yet about the inquiry I had yesterday and which according to his promise I should have received today. When and if I have more official information, I will inform the public," said Đeljošaj.
Momirović said today that he informed Đeljošaj that there are no problems with the export of oil to Montenegro.
According to the ministry, Momirović said that "the attack and manipulation surrounding the issue of oil trade is extremely incorrect".
"I clearly told Đeljošaj that there are no problems with the export of oil to Montenegro," said Momirović.
He added that stocks are currently being reviewed so that, in the event of unforeseen circumstances and potential disturbances on the market, there would be enough oil for the citizens of Serbia.
