The national airline "To Montenegro" announced yesterday a public competition for the election of the executive director for a term of four years. The contest is open 15 days after its publication.
"In addition to the general conditions stipulated in the Labor Law, the candidate must have at least the VII level of education qualifications, at least five years of work experience in jobs at the level of the required education qualification, and know the English language," the public invitation reads.
Preference is given to candidates with experience in the field of air transport.
On July 11, the government replaced him Mark Anjur from the position of executive director of the company and passed a decision on the appointment Vukadin Stojanović for acting (acting).
At the same session, a resolution was passed on the dismissal of the members of the Board of Directors Tihomir Dragaš, Mitar Susic, Aleksandra Gardašević Slavuljica, Vukadin Stojanović i Danilo Popovic, and a new Board of Directors was appointed in which Stojanović was replaced by Đezepe Renga, while the other four candidates, who were formally dismissed, were reappointed.
Mark Anžur, presented as an expert from Slovenia, was appointed at the beginning of May last year as the executive director of "To Montenegro", but the employment contract stipulates that he can be replaced, among other things, by a unilateral decision of the company, without giving reasons. According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", he was dismissed due to poor work results.
The company should have achieved an even better result last year if it had not happened, as was subsequently determined, the illegal allocation of lines from Podgorica to Istanbul to the Turkish low-cost carrier "Pegasus", which was done by the Ministry of Capital Investments when the minister was Ervin Ibrahimovic.
Before that, this line was one of the most profitable for the state-owned airline. According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the direct damage caused to him through the reduction of profits was estimated at at least 2,8 million euros.
