The interest of guests staying in Kolašin is still the greatest for accommodation in cottages and camps, but hotels and private accommodation in the city are also fully booked. The local Tourist Organization (TO) says that the occupancy of hotels this month is about 85 percent, and that, according to the number of tourists, this year's June was significantly better than last year's.
"About five percent more tourists are resting in hotels, compared to the same period last year. According to announcements, almost all accommodation facilities will be filled in August, and September should bring a good visit to hoteliers and private accommodation. According to reservations, occupancy of accommodation capacities in hotels next month should be around 90 percent. And this summer, the trend continues, so there is the most interest in staying in cottages and camps. "Kolašin is mostly visited by tourists who prefer an active holiday," says TO director Zorica Milašinović.
According to her, the city currently has the most guests from Israel, France, Germany, Russia... Milašinović, after the successful completion of the International Tango Camp, which marked the second half of July, announces numerous events in the coming period as well. The craft beer caravan will last until August 5, and the first seven days of the following month are reserved for the Ethno camp.
"The international festival of alternative theater Coryfej will be held from August 7 to 20, and the Bjelasica trail will be held on August 3 and 4, and during the first half of August we have planned several street concerts. Next month, the Ferrata, as well as the Yoga camp, will be held. TO also organizes hiking tours to the peaks of Bjelasica, and maintenance of the Painter's Colony is the most popular," announces Milašinović.
She reminds that private accommodation in Kolašno, the number of which has increased this year, is mainly categorized with four or three stars. Capacity has been well occupied since June 20, and the Basketball Camp and the International Goalkeeper Camp contributed significantly to this.
