Drafting of the Decision on Limiting Margins is nearing completion and will include more items than the previous "Limited Prices" decision, said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Đeljošaj.
He pointed out that ten days ago, margins were limited to five basic foods, and he reminded that at that time, it was announced that a new Decision on limiting margins to several hundreds of items would be drawn up after research conducted with consumers.
"The preparation of the Decision is nearing the end and will include more items than the previous decision 'Limited prices' and will be applied after the legal procedures have been carried out, adopted by the Government and published in the Official Gazette", pointed out Đeljošaj in a statement delivered by his cabinet.
He said that all activities are carried out in full coordination as already announced by Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
"Our goal is to use modern and European methods to achieve the flourishing of the standard of living of our citizens and full economic development. The concern for the standard of citizens that is expressed in the public is very positive, and it is now certainly clear that the 44th Government of Montenegro is the one that has done the most for citizens, preserved the standard, prevented price growth and simultaneously increased salaries and pensions," Đeljošaj said.
