The Directorate for the Management of Forests and Hunting Grounds announced that on Thursday, August 15, it will announce Public Call 2 for regular fellings this year.
"Taking into account the manipulation attempt due to criteria in the form of the number of workers, local factors and the local headquarters of the company, Public Call 2 will have only one condition, and that is the price. This will reveal whether the goal behind the protest was the demolition of this of the management of the Directorate for Forestry and Hunting Management for responsible work and results," the announcement states.

Wood processors from Rožaj, Plav, Beran, Pljevlja and Bijelo Polje gathered today in front of the Government building, protesting the tender that the Administration had conducted for the provision of forests for use by selling wood in rough condition, because of which, they claim, a large part of them was discriminated against and eliminated from the process.
