The Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property Slaven Radunović expressed his readiness to, together with the Municipality of Nikšić, find a solution to overcome the situation caused by the adoption of amendments to the Spatial-Urban Plan (PUP) of the Municipality of Nikšić, the relevant Ministry announced.
Today, Radunović received a delegation from the Municipality of Nikšić, led by President Marko Kovačević.
"The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Municipality of Nikšić, and on the occasion of open questions related to the application of the recently adopted Spatial-Urban Plan of the Municipality of Nikšić, which relate to building rights acquired during the period of validity of the previous Spatial-Urban Plan", the announcement states.
As they said, the chief city architect of the Municipality of Nikšić, Mladen Vujović, asked for an interpretation regarding the acquired rights to build buildings in relation to the Spatial-Urban Plan of the Municipality of Nikšić.
They added that State Secretary Marina Izgarević - Pavićević explained that the fact that Article 26 of the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Buildings defines the acquired right to build as the right to build a building based on a building application.
Radunović also announced that new laws, including the Spatial Planning Law, will be adopted by the end of the year.

On June 13, the government adopted amendments to the Spatial Urban Plan (SPA) of the Municipality of Nikšić, which, among other things, enables the arrival of the companies "Big fashion", "Lidl", the construction of the Sunny City, as well as the formation of the Željezara industrial zone.
