Public call 1 for regular fellings this year was successfully implemented, it was announced from the Directorate for Forest and Hunting Management.
"It is the single most successful public invitation with the largest number of cubic meters sold and the largest number of wood assortments sold over the initial price," the announcement states.
Most of the contracts, as announced, for public invitation 1 have already been signed and wood processors have already started exploitation and realization of contractual obligations.
"When it comes to the current gatherings of certain wood processors regarding the conditions of the successfully implemented public call 1, it is already more than obvious that these protests are politically motivated, primarily for the reason that all thefts in state forests have been prevented and there are no more illegal purchases," he says. in the announcement.
Also, as they said, they witnessed numerous incorrect insinuations and public name-calling against the director of the Forest Management Administration on several occasions in the previous days, as well as the public claims of wood processors that they are in possession of photos on which the director of the Administration negotiates the terms of a public call with concessionaires.
"Given that they have not shown these photos to the public for 15 days, in order to speed up the process, we are telling them that the director of the Administration is ready to pay for taxi transportation to the Special State Prosecutor's Office at his own expense, for all those wood processors who publicly claimed to have the mentioned photos of the director of the Administration and to hand them over to the Prosecutor's Office as soon as possible, because we also want to see how far they are willing to go in their lies, since such accusations are the product of corrupt and harmful individuals," the statement added.
The Administration stated that since certain wood processors did not meet the conditions of the public invitation 1, i.e. neither the workers nor the local factor, that a public invitation 2 was published for regular felling, where the only criterion for participation is the offered price and they can take over 100 thousand cubic meters in nearly as many departments , but the very announcement of this invitation with the desired criteria caused the indignation of individuals.
"Like all the previous times, we say that the Administration has provided more than enough raw materials for the work of all wood processing plants, and by not reporting to the public invitation 2, the public will be able to expose the intentions and motives of this complete media show, which we have been up to from the very beginning and warned", the announcement concludes.
