The government agreed to pay over 1,15 million euros from the current budget reserve to 88 pensioners of the Podgorica Aluminum Complex (KAP).
This was announced by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue after today's Government session.
The Ministry said that on May 26, former employees of KAP addressed the department, regarding incorrectly calculated contributions for pension and disability insurance, more precisely, retirement in 2005.
It is specified that they were not paid contributions for night work, which was reflected in the reduced amount of the pension.
That department, as stated, as a legal follower of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, having evaluated the complete chronology, as well as the attached documentation, determined that the debt of unpaid claims amounts to 1,151,463.29 euros, and that, as it is added, based on the list of creditors to whom they were recognized, and claims have not been paid in full, since there are currently no assets in the bankruptcy estate for distribution to bankruptcy creditors, certified by the bankruptcy administration of KAP.
"Therefore, it is an indisputable conclusion that the Government is obliged to settle its debts towards 88 pensioners of KAP", the announcement says.
It is stated that the Government adopted the information on the settlement of the payment of recognized and unpaid claims in full for 88 KAP pensioners.
"And gave consent for funds in the amount of 1,151,463.29 euros to be paid from the current budget reserve for 88 KAP pensioners," the announcement states.
