The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has published a public call for support to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of the mariculture sector.
The public call for the award of support for improving the competitiveness and efficiency of the mariculture sector for this year determines the conditions, method and criteria on the basis of which the right to support funds in the field of mariculture is realized.
"The right to support funds, determined through this budget line, can be exercised by companies and entrepreneurs who have a license for mariculture under the conditions established by this public call," the announcement states.
The right to support funds for improving the competitiveness and efficiency of the mariculture sector can be exercised for the reconstruction of breeding grounds, the construction or reconstruction of facilities for food storage and equipment storage, the acquisition of equipment for the automation of the breeding process: automatic feeders, sorting machines, aerators, liquid oxygen systems, pumps for fish loading, pools for transporting live fish with a liquid oxygen system, equipment for shocking fish, equipment for removing and transferring shells.
The right to support funds can be exercised for the procurement of equipment to improve hygiene in terms of food safety and the marketing of farming products: cooling chambers, ice machines, equipment for classification and washing shells, dedicated tables for cleaning fish and shells and waterproof scales, procurement of polyethylene protective a net to protect the farm from predators, as well as the purchase or reconstruction of a raft for the operational work of the farm.
"The maximum participation of support funds for the co-financing of approved investments is up to 50 percent of the total investment, and a maximum of ten thousand EUR," the announcement states.
The application form for approval of support and the application form for payment approval can be downloaded from the Ministry's official website https://www.gov.me/mpsv, or in office no. 25 of that department.
Submit the completed application form exclusively by registered mail, to the address Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management following a public call for support for improving the competitiveness and efficiency of the mariculture sector, Rimski trg no. 46, 81000 Podgorica.
