The relocation of the pig farm from Spuž, with the help of the state, would solve the decades-long problem faced by the residents of Grbe and Daljam.
On the initiative of representatives of the Committee of Residents of Grbe and Daljam, consisting of Vidak Đuranović, Radovan Radulović, Ratomir Miličković, Vladimir Šaranović and Matija Đuričković, a meeting was held with the president of the company Voli, Dragan Bokan, who owns the pig farm.
"The representatives of the Board presented the decades-long problems faced by the inhabitants of the mentioned settlements, the cause of which is the pig farm. As the biggest problem they face, they pointed out unpleasant odors, which, although reduced compared to previous years, when the farm was not managed company Voli, still present," the press release of the company Voli states.
It is added that Bokan convinced the representatives of the Board that in the Voli company, as well as in him personally, they have a responsible partner for the long-term solution of this black ecological issue in Montenegro.
According to the press release, Bokan presented all plans and investments, as well as all investments that had been realized up to the moment of the meeting.
"Conclusions were reached at the meeting that one of the solutions is to dislocate the farm with the intervention of the state, which will be discussed with representatives of the Municipality of Danilovgrad in the coming period, as well as requesting a meeting with the Government of Montenegro in order to propose possible solutions. Also, President Bokan assured the representatives that if joint efforts fail to relocate the farm to another acceptable place, the company will invest serious financial resources in environmental measures, in order to protect the environment and improve the quality of life of citizens living in the vicinity of Our Farm, as well as in all its business activities , the company Voli will behave extremely responsibly and with special sensitivity towards the local community", concludes the announcement of the company Voli.
