In Montenegro, the question is no longer who is the new investor who is coming, but who is the first to leave, announced the representative of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Milović.
He reacted to the announcement of the representatives of nine five-star hotels and resorts, who said that increasing the VAT rate would have a disastrous impact on tourism.
"Without adequate analysis and hastily as we are used to... Administrative management of the economy does not bring new value, but destroys the existing one. The increase in VAT in tourism represents the breaking of the branch on which we are sitting. The political cycle and the current government are pushing the economy towards collapse tourist destinations", wrote Milović in a post on Iks.
