The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue has announced that, through interdepartmental cooperation, a solution has been found to pay unpaid claims arising from bankruptcy proceedings to the former workers of the former factory "Košuta" from Cetinje.
They said that the solution was reached at the second meeting, which Minister Naida Nišić and her colleagues held today with representatives of former employees.
"The Labor Fund of Montenegro, as a guarantor institution for the payment of claims arising from bankruptcy, will assume the obligation of payments upon request for 693 former workers of Košuta. Also, this institution will take actions in order to link the length of service in order to realize the right to a pension for over 80 former workers of the Košuta factory ", the announcement states.
They say that the next meeting on that occasion, which will be attended by the acting director of the Labor Fund, Rašo Kožar, in addition to Minister Nišić with associates and representatives of former employees of "Košuta", will be held on Friday, September 20.
