Coalition "Europe now - Democrats - Even stronger - Prof. Dr. Saša Mujović" asked the candidate of the list "Jakov Milatović - For a better Podgorica!" for the mayor of the capital Luka Rakčević zwhich "overthrew the government with the DPS, when the city administration was preparing projects with hard work".
Rakčević announced earlier today that he did not expect that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić "will present the project that the city administration has been working on for the last two years as his own". Today, Spajić presented the Vojislavljević Boulevard project in Podgorica, which stretches from the roundabout from Petrovački road to the Morača bridge near Nikšić and Cetinj roads.
"Just as the decision to overthrow the majority in which he participates with the DPS is puzzling, the reaction of URA official Luka Rakčević to the announced implementation of the Vojislavljević Boulevard construction project is even more surprising. Why did Rakčević overthrow the government with the DPS, when the city administration did Rakčević work hard, as he says, did the city administration work well, and did Rakčević think that it is enough to want the project, and that it will be financed by itself? That he is the one who appropriates the results is also shown by the fact that the mayor, Prof. Dr. Olivera Injac, together with her colleagues from the majority in the Assembly of the Capital City and the Government of Montenegro, took the key steps that brought this project to life and brought it to a new stage of realization, through the preparation of a complex project documentation and the provision of the necessary funds. In what way did Rakčević make any contribution to this project? If he already values the work of his colleagues from the city administration, why did he subordinate everything they do to his own political interests and the desire to be a candidate for mayor once again? more," the announcement reads.
