The tender for the reconstruction of the road from ETC to the Zeleni bridge in Rožaje, worth one million euros, was announced on Friday, announced Mirsad Nurković, president of the Rožaje board of the Bosniak Party and vice-president of the Assembly.
With this, he says, the efforts and work of the parliamentary group of the Bosniak Party, as well as the ministers from the ranks of that party, have borne fruit when it comes to infrastructure projects.
"I would like to remind you that when adopting the budget for 2024, the Bosniak Party's club acted as an amendment with the request to allocate funds for the reconstruction of the road from the ETC to the now new roundabout near Zelenski Most. Then, after the actions of the representatives of the Bosniak Party, the Government of Montenegro in the form of a conclusion accepted the financing of this project in the amount of 1 million euros," said Nurković.
It indicates that it is a section that is "very critical from several aspects" and that "there were several traffic accidents with several fatal outcomes" on it.
"After the adopted conclusion, the Government of Montenegro tasked the Traffic Administration with the preparation of the project, and after the reconstruction of the Government, i.e., after entering the Council of Ministers from the ranks of the Bosniak Party, the Government additionally tasked the Traffic Administration with calling for a tender, which was yesterday done to the satisfaction of all the users of that section of the highway, and especially to the satisfaction of the citizens of the municipality of Rožaje. This is just one of the smaller but very significant projects that saw the light of day through the efforts of the Bosnian Party officials and the best indicator of the justification of the entry of BS into the Government of Montenegro further", concluded Nurković.
