The largest minority shareholder of the "Simo Milošević" Institute, Žarko Rakčević, says that he is considering leaving the Institute, as well as moving a part of his business outside the country.

Rakčević said that he believes that the only spa resort in Montenegro has a future, but as he says, he does not believe in the state as a good entrepreneur, after everything the Institute has been through.

"That option is very possible. I invested too much energy there, there are so many projects in Montenegro and outside Montenegro. To tell you the truth, I'm sick of it. If we and the Czechs had taken it, Germans and Czechs would already be walking there this year. Normally, the program for citizens of Montenegro would continue because we guaranteed up to 100.000 pension days for fund patients. The institute would probably have about thirty million euros in revenue, and that would be a different story," said Rakčević for the bankar.me portal.

He says, as reported by the portal, that he does not have an exact deadline for when he will stay at the Institute, but that he is already thinking about moving part of the business outside the country.

"I am very skeptical about the state as a controller. We advocated professional management, which is normal everywhere in the world. We don't need party soldiers. "There, a bad practice continued, perhaps in an even worse form after 2020 with party employees," he points out.

Rakčević says, one should not lose sight of the importance of the Institute when it comes to the rehabilitation of Montenegrin citizens, because there is almost no family whose member has not returned from Igalo. "And that is immeasurable. And I will really appreciate every move I make. And the fact that I gave a loan, like Vile Olive of five million euros, is so that the Institute would not go bankrupt. I must say, I am skeptical of the state as a good entrepreneur. The Institute has a great chance, but the Institute cannot continue without investments", Rakčević points out.

It would be a great sin, he says, for Herceg Novi, the state, health tourism and the economy of Montenegro, if the "Simo Milošević" Institute went, as he said, by the way of "Radoj Dakić".

"That will be the fate of 'salami', as they say. It will be sold piece by piece in order to divide the salaries", believes Rakčević.

He also explains that the problem is that the Institute cannot take out a loan, because the land is owned by the state, and that money could be used to adapt the facilities and thus bring back patients from Norway and the Netherlands. Rakčević believes that in this way the income would increase, and the Institute, as he says, would be on the "green line" in that case.

Rakčević owns 27,5 percent of the shares in the "Simo Milošević" Institute.
