The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue, Naida Nišić, reacted to the article titled "Problem of proportional pensioners: Promised 450 euros uncertain from January" published today on the Vijesti portal.

"There is no uncertainty regarding the increase of proportional pensions to 450 euros from January next year, when it was announced by the Government of Montenegro, i.e. the Department of Labor and Social Welfare, which until recently was headed by Minister Naida Nišić.
Given that it is now October 7, and not the end of the year, it is not a clear premature conclusion that the promised 450 euros is uncertain, especially considering that the procedure is nearing its end.
Therefore, the signing of the agreement on social security with Bosnia and Herzegovina remains to be realized.
The Government of Montenegro has confirmed that agreement and our information is that this procedure is nearing the end in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.
Therefore, there is no room for conclusions about any uncertainty, because this Government is precisely making it possible to stop the long-standing injustice of depriving pensioners of proportionate incomes," the response states.
