Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced that the foundation stone for the production plant of the German factory "TNA-ENERGIE" was laid in Petnjica.
In an announcement on Iks, he said that the beginning of the construction of the factory, the opening of new jobs and exports are the present and the future of Petnjica.
"We want news like this for the entire north of Montenegro! By laying the foundation stone for the production facility of the German company TNA-ENERGIE in Petnjica, we are sending a strong message to other investors as well - it pays to work in the north," wrote Spajić.
The Government has officially announced that Spajić, Minister of Finance Novica Vuković, owner of the company "TNA-ENERGIE" Adis Ramdedović and President of the Municipality of Petnjica Samir Agović laid the foundation stone for the production plant of the company "TNA-ENERGIE" in Petnjica.
It is stated that the factory will produce parts for diesel electric units, and that in the first phase it will cover an area of about 2800 square meters, with the possibility of expansion up to 10000 square meters.
It was announced that it will initially employ around 20 workers, and it is planned to double that number.
It is added that the investor's expectations are that the production plant could employ 200 people.
"This is great news for Petnjica and the entire north of Montenegro, an incredible signal that we sent to all investors - that it is possible to develop businesses in this part of the country as well. The arrival of new companies and the creation of jobs is a priority for the Government. This is how we imagine the north moving forward," Spajić pointed out during the ceremony, which was also attended by the Minister of Diaspora, Mirsad Azemović.
The factory will be located along the regional road Petnjica - Bioča - Bijelo Polje, and Spajić said that this section is "the lifeblood of the region, and that it will be reconstructed".
"The construction and reconstruction of roads will be a new impulse for the arrival of even more credible investors, who, I'm sure, will be encouraged by Mr. Ramdedović's example - to return and develop their businesses in Montenegro as well," said the Prime Minister.
Ramdedović completed the first year of the ETF in Podgorica, after which he continued his education in Germany, where he has had his own company since 2017, one of the leaders in the field of electrical aggregate production.
"The factory will produce products exclusively for the German market, and the people who will work there will have the opportunity to improve their skills there. To those who are temporarily working abroad and have their own jobs there, I say that everything we do in those Western European countries, we can do here as well. I saw that there is an understanding of the state and local authorities to initiate such projects", Ramdedović emphasized.
Agović praised the cooperation with the Government, and marked the investment as "a true example of patriotism, aimed at the development of the homeland".
"Petnjica has not seen a day like this for a long time, the day when we lay the foundation stone for a business plant, which is a prerequisite for opening new jobs for our youth. This is an exceptional day to be proud of," said Agović.
"Adis Ramdedović started applying the German practice from the very beginning of the project, so today the promises of those who laid it have been incorporated into the foundation stone. The Government of Montenegro has committed itself that the reconstruction of the Petnjica-Bioče road will start soon, the municipality of Petnjica will provide business zone in this region, and the investor, that he will fulfill all the plans related to the new factory," the Government's announcement reads.
