Of the 237 yachts that sail under the Montenegrin flag, 201 belong to foreign citizens, and among the owners of these luxury vessels are Miroslav Mišković, Fahrudin Radončić and Rodoljub Drašković, according to official data from the yacht registry from June 1 this year, owned by "Vijesti".
According to the list of registered yachts, which was provided by the Maritime Safety Administration on the basis of free access to information, the Serbian businessman Mišković, the owner of Delta Holding, has the yacht Nautilus I in Montenegro. Mišković was accused in Serbia of tax evasion of around three million euros and the trial was repeated at the end of May this year.
The owner of the Swisslion-Takovo concern and the brother of politician Vuk Drašković, Rodoljub, owns the yacht "Lav Nikolaj Fyodor". The company of the Serbian businessman Swisslion industrija alata Trebinje has been among the biggest tax debtors in the Republika Srpska for years.
Bosnia and Herzegovina politician and founder of Dnevni avaz, Fahrudin Radončić, has a yacht Aura 2 in Montenegro. According to the media in BiH, Radončić had joint business with Mišković, and he is a friend of the current Montenegrin president Milo Đukanović. He also collaborated with Naser Keljmendi, a convicted drug dealer, for which Radončić was in custody and under indictment in 2016.
Apart from Radončić, the yachts, which are a symbol of the rich, are owned by three other BiH citizens - Antonio Bagarić, Radivoje Samardžić and Dragan Vidović. Samardžić has two yachts - Ljupka and Lady Katy.
Among companies from Serbia, yachts registered in Montenegro are owned by Hewitt Globail, the IT company Prointer IT Solution and Services of businessman Slobodan Kvrgić, who the media in Serbia say is a close friend of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
One yacht is registered to the Serbian Saniteko Group (50 percent owners Željko Pujović and Montenegrin citizen Vladimir Brnović), while another is registered to the Russian Saniteko Group. Also sailing under the Montenegrin flag are the yachts of Serbian companies Real Factor doo, then Maxim Media Ružica Krdžić, the owner of Studio B and Omometal Miodrag Vasić.
Among the citizens of Serbia, in addition to Mišković and Drašković, Milan Colić, Slobodan Stanković, Snežana Spasojević, Denis Damjanović, Snežana Jokić, Miljko Vojinović, Branislav Simović, Branislav Popov, Miodrag Spasenović, Aleksandar Mandić, Đorđe Karavdija, Ivanka Sjekloća have yachts in Montenegro. American citizens have a yacht in Montenegro: Radojica Gardašević, Mayants Alexander and the companies Marlin Bel LTD, and LD International LLC. The two yachts are registered to the late director of the Sea Trade and Mimoza companies Anastasija Lašmanova, who was murdered in Kotor last month. "Vijesti" did not receive an answer from the Port Authority to the questions about the amount of income based on fees for the use of yachts registered in Montenegro in the last year and the first quarter of this year.
Russians have the most yachts
The most numerous owners of yachts in Montenegro are Russian citizens, of whom there are 67 in total. All yachts in Russian ownership are registered to natural persons.
