Dragana Lukšić has been elected as the new executive director of the Railway Transport of Montenegro (ŽPCG), "Vijesti" has learned unofficially. The executive director of this state-owned company is elected for a period of four years.
Lukšić was previously also the head of the railway company Ožvnežní železničkih voznej može (OŽVS).
She will replace the current acting (acting) executive director Slavica Pavićević in that position.
Lukšić was chosen in the second competition, which lasted from September 30 to October 14. The first competition, which lasted from mid-August to the 31st of that month, was canceled on September 26, after the intervention of the head of that department, Minister Maja Vukićević, as explained by the Ministry of Transport.
On August 9, the board of directors appointed Pavićević, who until then was the director of the economic sector in that company, as acting executive director. She was appointed after the Board dismissed the previous director, Ilinka Pavićević, on the same day, due to, as reported, an analysis of her work, in which irregularities were found.
