Is the Municipality of Bar, which is managed by the president Dušan Raičević, legally charged almost 20 million euros for the communal equipment of "Maljevik" and whether it will have to return it to the company "Sonuba Montenegro" will be known on November 20, when the judge of the Basic Court in Bar Boris Bulatović renders a verdict in a dispute between the two parties.
That is the conclusion of yesterday's main hearing, which was held in the bar court, and where evidentiary material in the form of documents was determined, while there are no witnesses or expert witnesses in this proceeding.
The preliminary hearing was held at the beginning of January, and Judge Bulatović said yesterday that the verdict will be sent by mail on November 20, and the deadline for appeal is 30 days from receiving the verdict.
The company "Sonuba Montenegro", which is supposed to build the multimillion-dollar tourist project "Maljevik" in the municipality of Bar, has filed a lawsuit against the municipality of Bar in which it disputes the execution of the verdict according to which the local administration charged 20 million euros for communal equipment of the land. This money, which was collected at the beginning of this year, was included in the proposal to rebalance the local budget, which councilors will decide on on Friday.
Lawyer “Sonube”, Petar Stojanovic, he said that it can be seen that the legal affairs that are necessary for it to be considered that the so-called previous conditions from the Agreement between the prosecutor and the defendant from 2019 have been fulfilled have not been perfected.
"Even if they did, the deadline of 18 months for the fulfillment of the plaintiff's obligations under the same Agreement has not passed. For those reasons, we stand by the lawsuit," he said.
After both sides agreed on the evidence, they did not have to submit new ones and there were no objections. "Sonuba" submitted a request for court costs doc Tamara Bulatović in front of the Municipality of Bar emphasized that the costs do not belong to them.
She suggested that the claim be rejected as unfounded.
In September 2007, the Podgorica company with Russian capital "Sonuba Montenegro" bought 200 square meters of land in Maljevik from the Municipality of Bar for 32,5 million euros, with another 11,8 million charged for utilities.
