The European Commission (EC) approved the Reform Agenda of Montenegro today, which officially provided the country with EUR 383,5 million in support, announced Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
In a post on the X network, he stated that in the next three-year period, these funds will be a significant incentive for social transformation and infrastructure construction.
"Which, I am sure, with the reforms we will implement, will make Montenegro ready for membership in 2028," said Spajić.
The adoption of the Reform Agenda paves the way for the withdrawal of money from the Instrument for Reform and Growth within the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
An amount of EUR 383,5 million has been set for Montenegro, of which EUR 110 million are grants, and EUR 273,5 million are soft loans.
Montenegro should receive the first tranche of around 29 million euros at the end of the year.
