The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management invited all interested parties to apply for a public call for support to registered producers of eggs, chicken and turkey meat (broiler fattening) for the second half of the year by November 4.

Support is granted within the framework of the Agricultural Budget, i.e. the Livestock Improvement Program line.

The right to support can be exercised by business entities that are registered as agricultural producers of eggs, chicken and turkey meat, and that are registered in the appropriate registers.

Support is provided in the amount of ten cents per kilogram of chicken meat, up to a maximum of 2,2 kilograms per broiler, and ten cents per kilogram of turkey meat, and a maximum of up to 20 kilograms per turkey for the period from April 15 to October 15 this year, i.e. four euros per thousand pieces of eggs, up to a maximum of 150 eggs per laying hen for the specified period, in registered facilities for keeping laying hens.

The amount of support is determined based on the submitted request of the business entity, after the determined number of laying hens, chickens and turkeys, administrative and field control of registered facilities for keeping laying hens, chickens and turkeys, as well as other submitted evidence.

The application form for granting support can be downloaded from the Ministry's website, or at the Directorate for Advisory Affairs and Field Control in the Livestock Industry.

The completed application form and other necessary documentation are submitted exclusively by mail, to the address of the Ministry.

More detailed information can be found in the public invitation published on the website of the Ministry.
