The construction of the Tivat-Jaz boulevard is proceeding according to the planned dynamics, and the works are in different stages depending on the section, the Traffic Administration announced.
"Works on the boulevard include all types of activities - from earthworks and reinforced concrete works, to the installation of regional water supply pipes, to works on the upper section of the road," the announcement states.
The Administration said that finishing works have begun on some sections, while others are awaiting the start.
The planned completion of the works is the beginning of 2026, which means that the execution of the works must fit into the overall dynamics.
"Currently, the main focus is on the completion of the first section, on which works are in the final stage, including asphalt work, and soon the removal of the existing asphalt on the second section will begin. Two layers of BNS were recently installed on the left carriageway of the second section, and work on the installation of public lighting will soon begin," the Administration explained.
The project envisages a 16-kilometer road with two lanes and a dividing island two meters wide.
The total value of the project is about 54 million euros without value added tax (VAT), with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The investors are the Traffic Administration and the Regional Waterworks. The works started in August last year, and the planned completion is scheduled for the middle of January 2026.
