The Directorate for Capital Projects has announced a tender worth EUR 16,9 million, for the preparation of the conceptual solution and the main project for the reconstruction of the Jasikovac road to the base settlement of Cmiljača. The goal of this 10,5 kilometer route is to connect the Cmiljač ski center and the Žarski ski resort, and the work is done according to the "design and build" principle.
The tender was announced on November 1 and will last until December 2, and the value of the project without VAT is EUR 14.000.000, it is written, among other things, in the tender documentation on the website for Montenegrin Electronic Public Procurement (CeJN).
Ski center Cmiljača is 14 kilometers from Bijelo Polje, and is located in Bjelasica. Ski resort Žarski is located on the northwestern part of the same mountain, territorially it belongs to Mojkovac, and work on it began in 2020. The state has been planning for some time to valorize these locations in the north and connect them, while future ski centers will be managed by the state company "Skijališta Crne Gore".
The company that is selected for the design and execution of these works will have two years from the signing of the contract to do so, namely five months for the development of the main project and another 19 for the execution of the works. In the tender, it is also written that new geodetic foundations must be built because there were landslides and landslides on the route.
"The purpose of creating conceptual solutions is to obtain the best position with the aim of retaining the existing route for which the main project was done by the "Republican Institute for Urban Planning and Design" and part of the road was carried out in the form of a part of the route being cut and partly completed with the objects of the road route. During the construction of the road, landslides were formed that were not treated by the previous project, and a special review is necessary for these sections," the documentation points out.
It is emphasized that there will be reconstruction of the road, construction of intersections, access roads, reconstruction of buildings, rehabilitation of landslides on road equipment, and it is also stated that the project should include sidewalks and a bicycle path. Sidewalks and these paths must be separated, both on the left and right sides of the road, in order to enrich the tourist offer of the mountain center of Cmiljač. In addition, the project must also plan local lighting on this section.
The designer will have to submit the Elaboration of simultaneous power and the number of measuring points, in order to obtain the necessary conditions from the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS). In 2014, the reconstruction project of this route received urban planning and technical conditions from the Bjelo Polje Secretariat for Construction.
