The government wants to get involved in the business, but they still don't know if they should accept the offer of 100 million euros for the airport concession in Tivat and Podgorica. The Minister of Transport, Maja Vukićević, can talk to the former Minister of Capital Investments, Ervin Ibrahimović, and determine the best solutions.
Dritan Abazović, the leader of the Citizens' Movement URA, told "Vijesta", commenting on the statement made by Vukićević the day before yesterday, answering parliamentary questions in parliament.
She stated that the previous Governments contributed to Tirana becoming a regional aviation center with bad decisions, to the detriment of the State Airports (ACG), and that the 43rd Government is most responsible for this. The prime minister of that government was Abazović.

"I believe that the decisions made during that period were very bad and that it seems to me that there are elements for a certain criminal responsibility, because damage was deliberately caused to ACG. It's not just a problem that the damage was caused, it was caused to the whole of Montenegro, I think it affected the reputation of ACG and Montenegro as a tourist destination, and because of that I think it was an extremely irresponsible decision for which someone should be held accountable," she stated. she.
Abazović repeated that the state ACG had 300.000 euros in its account when they came to power, and that they left 26.000.000 euros to the government of Milojko Spajić. He emphasized that he was unpleasantly surprised by the statement, but that he thinks that the comparison with Tirana is unnecessary because the airport in that city is under a concession, and that of a private person who made subsidies to low costers because he has other related businesses. They did not resolve the issue of the concession, because, as he pointed out, they were under a technical mandate, and that it was a matter of "double passes" between the Democratic Front and DPS, which planned a deal through which both domestic airports would be sold for 100 million euros.
He believes that this price is low and that he would not accept it, because Montenegro does not have a third airport, so a monopoly would be created.
"My question for Vukićević is that those who boast that they are the most stable and the biggest do not make a decision, I will tell her, because they want to integrate themselves into the business and do not know whether they should accept the offer of 100 million direct payments for two of the airport. I consider her story as a political addition with DPS. Given that the Ministry of Capital Investments was headed by Ibrahimović, Vukićević can now in the Government speak directly with him and let them see what the best solutions are at a professional level. The number of passengers going from Montenegro via Tirana is negligible for their overall growth, as they have overtaken the Belgrade airport as well. From the transport department, URI, among other things, replied that the problems encountered by the new management, which were left to them by the previous administration appointed by the 43rd Government, could be discussed for days, but they leave that to the ACG management.
