They said that the revenue plan for the period from January to October 2024 was exceeded by 16,7 million euros, or two percent.
"According to the structure of collected revenues, an increase in revenue collection was achieved for all types of duties. The most significant revenue growth was achieved on the basis of excise duty, which was collected in the amount of 318,7 million euros, which is 2023 million more than in the same period in 42 EUR, or 15 percent. Based on VAT, gross collection was realized in the amount of EUR 709,2 million, which is EUR 2023 million, or six percent more than in the same period in 42, while the collection of the customs base amounted to 50,5 million euros, which is 2023 million euros more, or 6,7 percent, than in the same period in 15. Collection of tax on coffee amounted to 2,2 million euros, and other revenues were collected in the amount of 104 thousand euros," the announcement states.
The Customs Administration said that the total collection of customs revenues for October 2024 amounted to 115.886.826,54 euros, which is 11.946.176,44 euros more than the same period last year, or 11,5 percent.
"The customs administration aims to provide efficient collection of revenues, which significantly contributes to the increase of total budget revenues with the application of strong fiscal policy measures," the announcement concludes.
