The Public Company for the Management of the Maritime Assets of Montenegro concluded today the contract with the shipping line that will connect Budva and Dubrovnik during 2025.
"This initiative aims to improve water transport connectivity and enable more efficient and sustainable transportation between coasts. According to the agreement, the Budva-Dubrovnik-Budva line will start operating from June 2 and will last until the end of September 2025. The Public Company for the Management of the Maritime Assets of Montenegro will subsequently inform the public about travel conditions, reservations and ticket prices. We look forward to the fact that citizens and tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy traveling between two popular destinations on the Adriatic in the coming years as well", announced this public company.
"Morski dobr" also announced that the procedure for announcing a tender for the reconstruction and arrangement of Pizana beach, which, as they emphasized, will officially become a public bathing area next year, is underway.
The planned works include, as announced, the rehabilitation of the coastal wall, the preparation of the terrain - cleaning, leveling and stabilization of the soil in order to achieve optimal safety and aesthetics, as well as the installation of beach equipment - the purchase and installation of adequate beach equipment - cabins and showers, as well as towers for lifeguards.
The goal of this reconstruction and arrangement, as stated, is to create a functional swimming pool accessible to all citizens and tourists, improving Budva's offer as a destination that nurtures a diverse tourist offer and natural values.
