In the following year, the state can issue guarantees in the total amount of up to 87,5 million euros.
As stated in the Draft Law on the budget for the next year, which is in the parliamentary procedure, guarantees can be issued for the credit arrangement between the Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), for the needs of the second tranche of the credit arrangement, and which is intended for financing the project of improving the regional water supply system through development projects, in the amount of up to 12 million euros.
Guarantees can also be issued for the credit arrangement between the Montenegrin Electric Transmission System (CGES) and the EBRD, for the construction of the 110 kilovolt (kV) transmission line Vilusi-Herceg Novi, in the amount of up to 18 million euros.
The state can also guarantee the loan arrangement between CGES and EBRD, for the financing of the project to increase the throughput of the 220 kV transmission line, in the amount of up to 15 million euros.
Guarantees can also be issued for the credit arrangement between CGES and the French Development Agency (AFD), for the financing of the reconstruction and expansion project of the 220/110 kV Perućica substation and the purchase of the 400/220 kV Pljevlja 2 autotransformer, in the amount of up to 25 million euros.
The state, as stated, can also guarantee a credit arrangement between the Regional Waterworks of the Montenegrin Coast and creditors that will be determined during the year, for the financing of the regional water supply system improvement project, in the amount of up to six million euros.
Issuance of guarantees is also possible for a credit arrangement between the Port of Bar and the creditor, which will be determined during the year, for financing the purchase of the crane and other equipment related to that installation, in the amount of up to five million euros.
Guarantees can also be issued for a credit arrangement between Railway Transport (ŽPCG) and a creditor that will be determined during the year, for the purpose of financing the repair of three electric trains manufactured by CAF and two electric locomotives, in the amount of up to 6,5 million euros.
