Monteput chose the joint offer of the Podgorica companies "Via project", "CDS project" and "Geotin MNE", worth 654.200 euros, as the most favorable in the tender for the conceptual design of the highway subdivision from the interchange at Smokovac to Tološ.
This route is part of the Bar-Boljara highway, it is 10 kilometers long and leads from the existing interchange at Smokovac to the Tološi settlement, so the authorities are planning it as a bypass around Podgorica and believe that it will relieve city traffic.
This is stated in the tender documentation published on November 25 on the website for Montenegrin Electronic Public Procurement (CeJN). This tender was announced on September 10 and lasted until October 11, and its estimated value was almost one million euros.
In mid-November, these three companies received from Monteputo the job of creating the conceptual design of the section of the highway Andrijevica-Berane-Boljare, worth 3,65 million euros. An appeal was filed against that decision on November 25, so the whole process is on hold until a final decision is made.
According to data from the Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS), the company "Via project" was founded in 2007, and deals with engineering work and technical consulting. The company is registered in Podgorica, and its founder is Jovan Ivanović. The executive director of the company is Njegoš Beljkaš, and the authorized person is Biljana Ivanović. According to last year's tax returns, the company has three employees.
The company "CDS project" was registered in 2006, also for engineering work and consulting, and was founded by Mladen Ulićević, while the executive director is Ana Petranović. The company "Geotin MNE" was registered for the same business in 2018, and its founder is Jelena Ćulafić, while its executive director is Milica Stojanović.
The subcontractors on this work will be the companies "Aqua engineering", "Intecon", "Geotest engineering" from Podgorica, "MMK control" from Bar, as well as the company "Optimusproject" from Bielsko-Biała.
"Monteput" announced at the beginning of September that the speed of movement on the route Smokovac - Tološi is projected at 100 kilometers per hour, but also that during the development of the project, special attention must be paid to the protection of the environment, i.e. the preservation of the Magara cave.
"On this section, two interchanges are planned: the "Smokovac" interchange, which connects the main road Podgorica - Kolašin with the existing section Smokovac - Mateševo, and the "Tološi" interchange, which connects with the main road Podgorica - Nikšić. Rest areas and gas stations near Velje Brdo are also planned. This section is one of the 18 that make up the network of planned highways and expressways in Montenegro, which the Government defined through five development corridors: highway Bar - Boljare; Adriatic - Ionian highway; fast road along the Montenegrin coast; expressway Bijelo Polje - Pljevlja - border with Bosnia and Herzegovina; and the high-speed road Podgorica - Nikšić - Žabljak - Pljevlja", they said from Monteput.
