The average October net salary in Montenegro amounted to 944 euros, the Directorate for Statistics (Monstat) announced.
As announced by that institution, gross earnings in October amounted to 1137 euros.
"The average (net) salary in October 2024 compared to September 2024 recorded a growth of 7,6 percent, while the average (net) salary in October 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year recorded a growth of 17,6, 2024 percent. If we take into account that consumer prices in October 2024 remained at the same level as in September 7,6, it follows that real wages for the same period recorded a growth of XNUMX percent," the announcement states.
"The methodology for calculating average wages includes all wages paid in October, not wages calculated only for the month of October (which are paid until November 15). Therefore, the average wage in the statistical survey for the month of October does not refer to all October wages that large the number of reporting units is paid out in November, but they will be an integral part of the survey for November, which will be published on December 30," it added.
Monstat said that, according to the above, the effects of the Government's Europe Now 2 program are not a fully integral part of this announcement, but will be fully covered in the next one.
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić promised that, if the average salary is not 1.000 and the minimum 700 euros by October 31 of this year, he will resign.
