Yesterday, for the first time, the Directorate for Statistics (Monstat) published the data on the average salary for the past month, and for the first time published a statement that they had not published until now, in which it was clarified that the average October salary in the statistical survey includes paid, but not calculated salaries, which will be a component part of the survey in November.
"The methodology for calculating average wages includes all wages paid in October, not wages calculated only for the month of October (which are paid until November 15). Therefore, the average wage in the statistical survey for the month of October does not refer to all October wages that large the number of reporting units will be paid out in November, but they will be an integral part of the research for November, which will be published on December 30," it was announced officially from Monstat.
Monstat said that, in accordance with the above, the effects of the Government program "Europe Now 2" are not a fully integral part of this announcement, but will be fully covered in the next one.
Yesterday, Monstat was also late with the publication of the data due to technical reasons, as explained.
"Due to technical reasons, the announcement on average earnings for October 2024 and the Monthly Statistical Bulletin are delayed in publication. We expect that the technical problems will be resolved soon and that they will be published by the end of the day," it was stated on the Monstat website.
Average October net earnings in Montenegro amounted to 944 euros and did not reach 1.000 euros as promised by Prime Minister Milojko Spajiić.
Prime Minister Milojko Spajić promised that, if the average salary is not 1.000 and the minimum 700 euros by October 31 of this year, he will resign.
