The Traffic Administration repeated the tender for the construction of the ring road around Rožaj, i.e. for the remaining works of the second phase.
As announced by the Traffic Administration, the estimated value of the works is around 12 million euros including VAT, and the offered deadline for the completion of the works cannot be shorter than 350 nor longer than 450 calendar days from the day the contractor is introduced to the job.
The second phase of the ring road is 2,6 km long and connects the main road Berane-Rožaje in the town of Dimiškin, with the previously built first phase and the regional road Rožaje - Peć, in the town of Crnja. Part of the work was performed by Euro-asfalt and partners under a contract that was later terminated.
The bypass around Rožaj is being built due to the need to move transit traffic out of the city.
