The Prime Minister's Office announced that Goran Đurović, Vice-President of the Civic Movement URA and Minister of Economic Development and Tourism in the 43rd Government of Montenegro, will have the opportunity to explain his statements to the competent authorities.
The Prime Minister's Office spoke after Đurović announced that the Government of Milojko Spajić was "caught in a lie again", and that the guarantee for the hotel "Magnum Developments" given in 2021 has nothing to do with the 43rd Government.
The Prime Minister's office announced that the 44th Government of Montenegro "acted responsibly" and that for any possible doubts, Đurović is referred to his predecessor in the department of economic development, that is, the current president of the state, Jakov Milatović.
"43. The Government of Montenegro included the mentioned project in the list of priority projects, and adopted that document. 42. The Government did not include that project in the list of priority projects; 44. When starting the procedure for collecting the bank guarantee, the Government, in the amount of 2,5 million euros, determined that it does not exist, i.e. that a false guarantee was issued for the said project," the announcement states.
They add that at today's Government session, it was decided that Ernad Suljević, on behalf of the Government, submit the entire case file to the competent state prosecutor's office for further action and decision.
