The Bijela Shipyard is strategically important for the development of the maritime industry and economy of Montenegro, said Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović.
He visited the company "Adriatic 42" in the Bijela shipyard, where he discussed current projects, plans and "challenges in the coming period" with the owners and management of that company.
Radulović emphasized that the shipyard is crucial for improving technical capacities and creating new jobs, as well as for positioning Montenegro as a regional leader in that industry.
Radulović said that "Adriatic 42 is a great example" of successful cooperation between the private sector and the state. "This project is of exceptional importance, not only for our maritime industry, but also for the wider economic stability and development of our country".
The Ministry of Maritime Affairs announced that representatives of the company "Adriatic 42" thanked Radulović for the visit and expressed their readiness for further cooperation with state institutions, "in order to overcome challenges and realize ambitious plans for the future".
"The Ministry of Maritime Affairs will continue to provide support to companies in order to further encourage the development of the maritime sector and strengthen its contribution to the economic development of Montenegro," the announcement reads.
