The purchase of 1,1 vehicles for the Ministry of Defense will cost more than 33 million euros - passenger vehicles, a sports utility vehicle, a special vehicle for transporting patients and another vehicle, the purpose of which has not been specified.

This stems from the tender that was announced on November 18 by the government department, which he heads Dragan Krapović.

The tender includes - a VIP vehicle with an estimated value of EUR 60.000, one high-class vehicle and six escort vehicles, valued at EUR 318.000 in total, ten medium-class vehicles valued at EUR 230.000, 15 low-class vehicles valued at EUR 270.000, one sports utility vehicle valued at EUR 36.000 euros and a special vehicle with equipment for emergency medical interventions and transport of medical patients 66.000 euros.

According to the assessment of automotive experts contacted by "Vijesti", the specifications required for a VIP vehicle correspond to the "Audi 6" car, for a high-class vehicle and for an escort, the specifications correspond to "Skodi Superb", the specifications for medium-class passenger motor vehicles correspond to " škodi scala", the specifications for low-class passenger cars correspond to the škodi fabia, and the specifications for the sport utility vehicle correspond to the škodi kodiaq.

"Medical devices with which the vehicle should be equipped (oxygen installation, stretcher, cardiology chair, aspirator, EKG...) should be registered with the Agency/Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices, which the bidder proves by submitting a decision on registration/renewal of registration in the register of the offered medical device issued by the Agency/Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices or the confirmation of receipt of the request for the renewal of the decision on registration in the register of medical devices (with delivery of the decision whose validity has expired), issued by the Agency/Institute for medicines and medical devices of Montenegro. In the event that the bidder is not the holder of the registration of the offered medical device, he is obliged to submit an authorization from the person who performed the registration of the offered medical device", it is explained in the tender documentation.

Although questions about this procurement were sent to the Ministry of Defense on November 25, the answers have not been submitted to date.

"Vijesti" asked why the Ministry of Defense needs so many new vehicles and how many vehicles they currently have, not counting the military vehicles used by the Army of Montenegro.

There are also unanswered questions for whom the VIP vehicle, sports utility vehicle and high-class vehicle are intended, as well as who are the users of medium-class vehicles.

Bids will be opened on December 20.
