At today's session of the Municipal Assembly of Nikšić, the proposal of the Decision on the budget for 2025, which is expected to be 37,18 million, will be presented to the councilors. The funds transferred from the previous year are planned in the amount of eight million euros.
7,4 million euros will be allocated for capital projects, which is 19,9 percent of the total budget, while the operating budget is slightly more than 29,7 million euros or almost 81 percent.
Funds in the amount of 3,8 million euros have been planned for local infrastructure, and they relate to the construction and reconstruction of streets and parks, roads, neighborhoods and playgrounds, water supply, river bed arrangement, artificial reservoirs, sewage and collectors. 700 thousand euros are also planned for the Center for modern management and treatment of municipal waste.
Investment maintenance will cost 2,6 million euros, while investment maintenance of infrastructure will be almost 2,5 million, and investment maintenance of high-rise and low-rise buildings will cost two million. 350.000 euros will be allocated for the adaptation of the assembly hall, and 150 for the co-financing of the adaptation of facades and roofs.
Of the current expenses, the most goes to gross wages and contributions at the expense of the employer, 6,6 million, or 17,75 percent of the total budget.
Next year, transfers to cultural and sports institutions are planned to be almost two million, of which 1,655 million euros will be allocated for sports and sports clubs founded by the Municipality.
The Decision states that the original revenues are planned at almost 28 million euros. The municipality of Nikšić plans to receive the most money from taxes in the coming year - 15,5 million euros, of which 7,45 million from property tax, about 6,5 million from personal income tax and 6,8 million from real estate tax . The revenues assigned by the law, i.e. the revenues distributed to the municipalities according to established criteria, are planned in the amount of almost 9,5 million euros, while the municipal coffers will be seven million more full next year at the expense of the Equalization Fund. Fees in the amount of slightly more than four million euros are also an important income item.
