The national airline To Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, has prepared preferential ticket prices for Montenegrin students and doctors who are undergoing specialization outside of Montenegro.
"On the initiative of the Ministry of Transport, and in cooperation with To Montenegro, the promise of the line minister, Maja Vukićević, made when answering the parliamentary question and the initiative of the member of parliament Sonja Milatović, was fulfilled", according to the announcement of that government department.
On that occasion, Vukićević stated that the Ministry, in agreement with the company To Montenegro, started preparing a model of concessions, that is, preferential transportation prices, both for students and for Montenegrin doctors who are undergoing specialization outside of Montenegro.
"With a unique action, all students from Montenegro and resident doctors will have the right to preferential ticket prices, with the fact that the ticket prices related to doctors on specialization will be further regulated by the contract between the Medical Chamber and To Montenegro," the statement added.
All Montenegrin students who meet the conditions will be entitled to special prices for plane tickets, so the price of a return ticket to Belgrade will be 99 euros, Rome 123, Ljubljana 109, Zurich and Istanbul 189, while the price of a return ticket to Frankfurt and Paris will be 199 euros.
"A special action will be implemented for students studying in Germany, France and Turkey, for whom slightly cheaper ticket prices are provided compared to the above, and the price of a return ticket to Istanbul will be 169 euros, and to Paris and Frankfurt 189 euros," they said. are from the Ministry.
For resident doctors, who are undergoing specialization outside of Montenegro, the prices of return tickets to Belgrade are 109 euros and to Ljubljana 129 euros, and other tariffs will be subject to agreement between the Medical Chamber and To Montenegro.
Promotional ticket prices will be applied from January 1.
The conditions for a passenger with student status are that he is not older than 26 years old, and he must provide the company with a certificate from the college confirming student status and a certified index for the current semester.
As announced by its representatives, the Ministry will, in cooperation with the national airline, extend the campaign to some new destinations in regular air traffic next year.
