After only one year as the first man of the Administration of Maritime Safety and Port Management of Montenegro (UPSUL), Haris Husić resigned from the position of director of this administration.
Instead of Husić, the Government of Montenegro appointed Nebojša Kaljević, Master of Economics from Podgorica, as the new acting director of UPSUL.
Until now, Kaljević was a member of the Board of Directors of the maritime company Barska plovidba, he is an expert in foreign trade operations and customs procedures, but he has no experience or work references in the field of maritime affairs and maritime administration.
Husić became the head of UPSUL as acting director at the end of December last year.

His father used to work at UPSUL, and Husić's mother and sister are also employed in this administration. The government of Montenegro, led by Milojko Spajić (PES), entrusted Husić with the acting directorship of UPSUL on two occasions, and then at the end of September appointed him as a full-time director.

This, according to unofficial information from "Vijesti", influenced Husić's sudden decision to step down from the head of UPSUL and resign after only three months of work as a full-time director.
He will resume his professional career on merchant ships.
Vada's solution to replace Husić as acting director with Kaljević is also, as "Vijesti" has unofficially learned, of limited duration, i.e. he was allegedly brought in to complete the work of awarding some concessions in the field of port and towing and pilotage services, after which UPSUL should receive the second, final director in full term.
