Monstat: Average earnings in November 993 euros

Average earnings without taxes and contributions in November, according to Monstat data, amounted to 993 euros and were 5,2 percent higher than in October.

Compared to the same month last year, average net earnings in November recorded a growth of 23 percent.

The average gross salary in November was 1,18 thousand euros

"Taking into account that consumer prices in November compared to October recorded an increase of 0,2 percent, it follows that real earnings for the same period increased by five percent," the announcement states.

By sector of activity, average earnings without taxes and contributions in November compared to October increased in the financial and insurance sectors by 21,2 percent, real estate business by 12,7 percent, manufacturing industry by 11,1 percent, and information and communications by 8,9 percent. , mining and quarrying eight percent, construction 7,9 percent, wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 6,8 percent, other service activities six percent, administrative and auxiliary service activities 4,3 percent, accommodation and food services 3,6 percent.

Growth was recorded in the sectors of water supply, waste water management, process control, waste removal and similar activities, health and social protection, artistic entertainment and recreational activities by 3,1 percent, professional, scientific and technical activities by 2,5 percent, traffic and storage 2,4 percent, supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning two percent and state administration and defense: mandatory social insurance 1,2 percent.

The drop in average earnings without taxes and contributions in November compared to the previous month was recorded in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sector by 9,7 percent.
