The Ministry of Finance amended the decision on temporary financing for this month to increase the budget amount belonging to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography from 20.251.805,09 million euros to 21.010.289,63 million euros.
The editorial office of "Vijesti" was contacted today by several readers who are beneficiaries of these social benefits, who said that their payments were delayed, which is why "Vijesti" asked Gutić's department when the payments would begin.
In the amended decision on temporary financing, the Ministry of Finance states that Gutić's department submitted a request for the release of money relating to the payment of social protection money for December last year, and that it was determined that the requested amount differs from that contained in the decision on temporary financing.
The Ministry of Finance states that 18.441.66,69 million euros have been allocated for this purpose in the decision on temporary financing, while the request from the Ministry of Social Welfare has allocated 19.200.151,20 million.
"Given the importance of the payment of social security benefits, the Ministry of Finance issues a decision on amendments to the decision on temporary financing in the part relating to the funds allocated to the Ministry of Social Welfare. Accordingly, the total amount of the decision on temporary financing is increased by 758.484,54 thousand euros for the Ministry of Social Welfare, while the amount for other spending units remains unchanged," the Ministry of Finance states.
