The company "Vila Oliva" purchased 5,7 thousand shares of the Simo Milošević Institute on the stock exchange today at a price of 58 euros, "Vila Olive" co-owner Žarko Rakčević confirmed to "Vijesti".
This amount constitutes about one and a half percent of the Institute's total share capital, so after this transaction, the percentage of "Vila Olive"'s participation in the Institute's ownership will increase to about 29 percent.
Rakčević says that these shares belonged to partner companies with whom they have been cooperating on joint appearances since 2018 and from whom they had the power of attorney to represent them at shareholder assemblies.
"We promised then that we would buy their shares at the price the Government was offering us at the time, which was 58 euros per share. They have about two percent ownership and we will keep our word to all of them who want to buy shares at this price," said Rakčević.
The shareholders' assembly of the Simo Milošević Institute has been postponed again today. Earlier, the Government accepted part of the suggestions of "Vila Olive" to the Institute's restructuring plan, and today the assembly only stated that the team of the University of Montenegro that prepared the plan should make the agreed changes to it.
The shareholders' meeting to decide on the Restructuring Plan and recapitalization will be held later, once the University team has completed the changes to the Plan.
