The owner of the company Kosanović, which trades in secondary raw materials, Zdravko Kosanović, will block the account of Željezara Tosčelik due to debt on Monday.
"We have prepared all the papers and the procedure is for the blockade, which will be from Monday. I feel sorry for the city, the employed workers, for the companies that are connected to the Ironworks, but that is the only way to collect the debt. I hope that Tosjali Group will help its daughter company and that it will start working as they announced", said Kosanović to "Vijesta".
As he said, the blockade refers to the entire debt, not wanting to specify what sum it is, although in the previous days he announced that Toscelik owed him about 1,2 million euros for scrap metal.
According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", Tosčelik paid about 30 euros towards the debt to Kosanović.
Tosčelik did not answer the questions "Vijesti" sent to them at the beginning of the week, which refer to the announced blockade of the company Kosanović and the amount owed to suppliers.
Tosčelik owes not only to Kosanović, but also to other suppliers, but the debt to his company is the largest.
In 2016, Željezara had a loss of over six million, and the accumulated losses exceeded 26 million.
In 2012, the Turkish Tosčelik bought the property of Željezara in bankruptcy for 15,1 million euros. St. M.
