The head of the Bosniak Party's parliamentary club, Amer Smailović, says that the capital budget for 2025 significantly supports the development of Bijelo Polje. This, he said, will continue the implementation of key infrastructure projects.
Smailović announced that the Bosniak Party intervened in the government to ensure that, in accordance with the agreement signed with the Europe Now Movement, funds were provided for the continuation of the implementation of the Đalovića Cave projects - 610.000 euros and the "Cmiljača" Ski Center - 2.300.000 euros.
In addition to other projects, he points out that the Government has provided 105.000 euros for the reconstruction of the existing hospital building in Bijelo Polje and 600.000 for the adaptation and equipping of three operating rooms in that health institution.
As he explained, the amendments to the BS, which became an integral part of the conclusion of the parliamentary Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, provided an additional 550.000 euros for the Local Infrastructure Construction Program, which will be directed towards the construction and asphalting of the following road routes: Goduša - Azane, Godijevo - Kradenik and the road in Ličine in the Korita Local Community.
When it comes to the project to reconstruct the Srđevac - Sušica road (Phase I), Smailović notes that this project is also in the budget for this year, but that the start of work is expected when all disputes related to land expropriation are resolved.
"All of the above projects are of exceptional importance for the development of our municipality and the daily functioning of its residents. I believe that the Government and the Capital Projects Administration, in cooperation with the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, will make good use of the funds allocated through the capital budget and accelerate the implementation of all of the aforementioned projects," Smailović said.
