The Voli company has informed domestic producers that due to the announced boycott of their retail chains, it will reduce the agreed purchase quantities of domestic products.
The letter from Voli to domestic manufacturers and suppliers is transmitted in full:
"We are writing to you regarding current events and the announced boycott of our retail stores, which we believe will cause damage both economically and in every other way.
As you know, for years we have been building a strong partnership with domestic producers, i.e. with you, providing you with a secure market and continuous support. Our mission has always been and remains to support and develop domestic production, strengthen Montenegrin agriculture and enable long-term stability in product placement.
However, the announced boycott of retail chains, which is being implemented without a realistic view of the broader economic picture, directly threatens not only our work, but also your ability to regularly market your products.

Unfortunately, in the conditions of a potential decrease in turnover and impaired market stability, we will be forced to reduce the purchase of planned - agreed, i.e. expected quantities of agricultural products in the coming period. We are aware of how challenging this is for you and how important it is for your products to reach consumers, and we hope that reason will prevail and that all participants in this process will recognize the long-term consequences of such moves.
"As our long-term - decades-long suppliers, you know what kind of relationship, attention and support you have had from the VOLI company. We appeal to decision-makers and organizers of these initiatives to find sustainable solutions that will enable the continuation of uninterrupted business and support local production, instead of measures that harm the domestic economy," Voli said in a statement.
