The Public Company for Marine Management (PK) announced this afternoon a public call for bids for the lease of public bathing areas for the municipalities of Bar and Ulcinj.

The bid opening will take place on March 4th, according to the PE website.

"Temporary locations are leased without installed facilities and infrastructure equipment, with the exception of existing facilities on the ground, which are managed by this Public Company. The locations are accessed via existing paths and access communications, and exceptionally, if the access path is located on a private plot or if there is no access road, the burden of providing passage is on the selected bidder, through obtaining consent from the owner of the private plot or through providing alternative access by land or sea, in accordance with applicable regulations," the invitation states, among other things.

It is emphasized that the rent for the use of the marine area is paid in full at the time of conclusion of the contract or in a maximum of three installments, the first installment of which is due at the time of conclusion of the contract, with the obligation of the selected bidder to submit to the PE an original, unconditional and payable on first demand bank guarantee for payment of the remaining amount of the annual rent, which is increased by the amount of VAT.

It is added that contracts are concluded for a period of four years, i.e. from the date of conclusion of the contract until December 31.12, 2028, provided that the user has fulfilled the obligations stipulated in the contract and that the contract has not been terminated unilaterally or by agreement.

Among other things, the PE requires potential tenants to obtain a certificate from the competent authority for keeping criminal records confirming that the domestic natural person has not been convicted by a final judgment for any of the following criminal offenses: criminal association, creation of a criminal organization, giving bribes, receiving bribes, tax and contribution evasion, fraud, money laundering, organized crime with elements of corruption.

Ranking and evaluation of correct and acceptable offers, as stated in the letter, will be carried out according to the following criteria - the offered amount of annual rent for the use of the maritime domain is 75 points and references are 25 points.
